The firm’s Estate Planning and Probate practice group has extensive experience in providing lifetime and post-mortem estate planning as well as Probate and Trust Administration services. Estate Planning

We provide personalized Estate Planning documents including Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Generation-Skipping Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Charitable Trusts, various Grantor and Personal Residence Trusts, and many other types of Trusts for the benefit of children and other beneficiaries, Powers of Attorney, Pre-Nuptial and Post Nuptial Agreements, Family Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies and Planning for Family Cottages.

 

Probate and Trust Administration

Upon the death of an individual our firm can assist with the handling of a trust or probate estate and the collection of assets, payment of claims and ultimate payout of assets.  Our firm can provide the high quality counsel and service the family deserves, assuring that the case moves along quickly, easily, and at the least cost possible.

Guardianships and Conservatorships. A legal guardian or conservator is responsible for making decision’s regarding a person who is unable to manage their own personal affairs and living situation. At Brandt, Fisher, Alward & Pezzetti, we represent interested parties during guardianship and conservatorship proceedings and can also help individuals if someone is seeking to become their guardian or conservator, if an appointed guardian or conservator is not acting in their best interest or if they no longer need a guardian or conservator. 

 

Elder Law

Elder Law is service to the elderly and disabled, including Medicaid qualification and planning, Veterans assistance, and Social Security disability benefits.  It includes integration of estate planning techniques with federal and state assistance regulations.  Similarly, the service extends to court involvement in guardianship matters for personal assistance and conservatorships for property management and administration.  The practice has also extended to Special Needs Trusts for injury recoveries and structured settlements.
